Oh what a night! On Saturday 22nd March 2025 the whole of Newton Abbot Swimming and Water Polo club came together to celebrate another year of amazing achievements. The evening started with a bang with a personal video message from Olympic gold medalist swimmer Adam Peaty. It then continued with a huge programme of recognition, deservedly given to all our wonderful members. We awarded over 600 trophies and medals to our the 1st/2nd/3rd place winners of the club championships and ribbon gala. We also celebrated the achievements of our fantastic water polo teams including being voted The South West Region Water Polo Club of the Year! We introduced our new club captains and said a big thank you to our outgoing club captains who have been amazing. We celebrated the club records that were broken and said a sad goodbye to a couple of longstanding members of the committee and coaching team. We ate, drank and discoed together and celebrated everyone who is a part of our club and makes it what it is. Thank you again to everyone involved in organising this event, it was superb. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
