As our annual NASWPC Club Championships come to a close, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part. From swimmers to umpires, timekeepers to parent supporters, team managers and table officials — we couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you. As always, it was a fantastic experience for the children, giving our younger swimmers a valuable introduction to competitive swimming, while allowing our older swimmers the opportunity to improve their PBs or even break club records in a fully licensed event. The atmosphere was brilliant, with teammates cheering one another on and celebrating every achievement, big or small.
A special thank you goes to Kathy Forward, who played a major role in organising this year’s championships. This will be Kathy’s final Club Champs before she moves to Wales, and we want to express our deepest gratitude for her years of dedication and support. She has been an invaluable part of the club, and she will be greatly missed.
Trophies and medals awarded during the Club Champs will be presented at our Celebration Evening on 3 January, and tickets are now available for members to purchase on Active. Please take a look at the individual event results below.
